Our families lost both mothers to dementia-related illnesses, and we continue to care for other family members who now have Alzheimer's. We created this team effort in their honor to increase awareness, raise funds for research, and do what we can to help find a cure. Funds raised from your donations/purchases of our hand-crafted home decor items go to the Alzheimer's Association's Longest Day event for dementia research, programs and services.
Dementia patients have many challenges as they progress through their illness. They will have good days, and bad days, and staying positive can make a difference. As the memories begin to fade, every day is a new beginning for a dementia patient. Give them a reason to face each day with motivating messages that are relevant and personal when it matters the most.
Caregivers are angels on Earth, and their role in the lives of a dementia patients is critically important. Whether family, friends or health care providers, caregivers make it possible for dementia patients to live their best life possible, right up to the end. Doing what they have to do is often more difficult than anyone could image. Show your appreciation with motivating messages that matter.
