Our Story

Our families lost both mothers and several family members to dementia-related illnesses. They were artists, wood workers, and photographers. They instilled in us a love for taking vintage junk and upcycling them into beautiful things. Painting motivating designs on old unwanted items to give them new life. Swirling colors together to create abstract art on antique wood that is inspiring. We have turned our hobbies into a way to give back in their honor. We donate our time and proceeds to the Alzheimer's Association Longest Day.

When you buy one of our home decor items or art pieces, all the proceeds is donated to dementia research. Home Decor
Vintage junk, old boards and scraps are cleaned up, trimmed, stained and hand crafted into beautiful wood risers, serving trays and other home decor items. Some are embellished with stencils or hand-painted designs. All are created with love and look amazing on your dining room table or kitchen island.

Our mother was an avid photographer, with an incredible eye for the amazing aspects of nature. She took photos of every little thing around her home in the country and looked at them often in hopes of never forgetting their beauty and importance in her life.

The Longest Day is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. On June 20 (or another meaningful date for your family), thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to form "teams" and raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Purchasing Info or Making Donations
This is a family run, fundraising effort. All proceeds from sales of home decor items goes directly to dementia research through the Alzheimer's Association's Longest Day Fundraising Annual Event. To purchase one of our items, we take payments and donations through Venmo or Cash only. Small items are available for shipping at an extra charge, but all items are available for pick up locally in the Minnesota or Western Wisconsin areas.
